My mother, who is an artist, painted the painting (left) after hearing we were going to visit Greece.  When she visited us the following summer, she gave us two paintings, including this one.  When she looked at our trip photos, she noticed (right) the same scene that she painted!  She had painted her painting using the photo from Greek visit over 30 years ago!  What a coincidence that we took the same photograph!

Poros
Arachova: On the way to Delphi, we stopped at this little town where the locals were celebrating St. Georges' day.  Every street corner was filled with people roasting delicious whole lamb.
Delphi: It was a three hour bus ride to Delphi.  We enjoyed the museum and sights around the area
For our last day in Greece, we took the local bus to Cape Sounio.  It was a long ride, but we enjoyed the scenery along the coast.

In Piraeus, we took a boat trip to three islands: Hydra, Aegina, and Poros.  It included a light lunch and short visits to each island.  All were enjoyable to visit and I'm sure we could have spent more time on them.
