Greetings fellow passengers! I have created this web site to provide port and other cruise
informaiton. I need to first clean up the previous cruise information for ours.
I am creating individual documents of each port for you to download (see links below). If
you have any problems downloading the documents, please le me know. If you have
information based on your time in these ports (sights to see, restaurant recs, private tour
information, etc., I'll be glad to to add it so we can build up these port documents.
Email me with your information, questions or comments.

Thanks, enjoy, and Happy Cruising!
Monica

My Rome Journal from October 2007. Four nigths in Rome prior to my cruise.
Trambus Open Roma Cruise friend Glenn asked about this Trambus. It seems to be a good option for people who don't want to do lots of walking. I prefer to walk because I feel I get to see more of the city, sights, and people. It is an hop on/off bus tour. This is the information for the Open Route.
Tickets are good for 24 hours but they have a 2-hour tour. You could start your moring taking the 2-hour tour, keep track of what you'd like to go back to see; have lunch, and return to those sights in the afternoon (make sure you keep track of the opening/closing times of the sights).
Tickets are about $27 USD per person, so really, it's an expensive bus ride but convenient, as the bus will stop only at the places on their route - nicer than than taking the local bus that makes lots of stops.
A lot of the sights are within walking distance, so you can do Rome on your own: Piazza Venezia, Campidoglio, the Colosseum, and Roman Forum, which can be done in one day; Vatican City and Castel S. Angelo another day...adding other sights along the way. Just remember to save time to enjoy some gelato!
See this link for various travel web sites. Note that the links do not work, as it is so time-consuming to connect them. Just copy and paste the URL.
Check out SeaScanner.com to see which cabins are available on your cruise. Click on Cruise Finder at the top of the page. Sort down to cruise line, your ship, type of sailing, and number of days. Then, select the cabin catetory you are interested in (i.e., C2) and you will see which cabins are open to purchase.
